Q: How do we submit our logo to be printed on the timepiece?
A: You can send it to us by mail or email: info@imclogo.com.
Q: How does your promotion work?
A: Send us your logo, and we’ll send you back a free watch sample to look at + watch layout with your logo on it.
Q: What’s a chronograph, and what does it do?
A: Originally, a chronograph was a watch that could do more than merely tell the time, but this is no longer so after electronic watches came on the scene. At the very least, any electronic watch tells the time, date, and day of the week, and also doubles as a stop-watch and alarm clock. So, since Japanese watchmakers redefined our idea of wristwatch, one in every three or four timepieces in the world could be called a chronograph. In reality, a chronograph is a watch with two independent measuring systems: one for time, the other for short time periods. The counter, which can be on or off, counts seconds, minutes and hours. The central second hand in a chronograph usually doubles as the stop-watch second hand. The extra feature in the IMC Vincero chronograph is a speedometer scale on the outside of the watch face, telling you your average moving speed. For example, with our chronograph you can gauge how long it takes you to travel 1 km at a steady speed. Set the time it takes to travel 1 km, stop the chronograph, and the second arm will show your average speed on that stretch of road on the speedometer scale.
Q: How water-resistant is your watch? What do those water resistance marks mean?
A: With most watch manufacturers, the water resistance scale looks more or less as follows:
Q: What movements are used in watches?
A: The movement is the heart of your watch. The majority of watch movements in the world are manufactured by three leading corporations, named below in decreasing order: Miyota (member of the Citizen Group) is the acclaimed international leader, followed by Seiko, the world’s second-largest watchmaker; and ETA, a major Swiss manufacturer offering the largest range of movements (ETA is part of the SMH Group). We use functionally advanced, high-precision Miyota, Seiko and ETA movements in our watches.
Q: How long does a watch battery last?
A: We use long-life Sony and Maxell batteries, which last two to three years. With any of our watches, please only use batteries recommended by IMC.
Q: How many colors can you put on the watch face?
A: Our factory is equipped to put any number of colors on the watch face, and even photographs with very high resolution.
Q: How do we submit files?
A: The better your file, the better the result. For best results, it is advisable to submit your file in any common image-processing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or Corel Draw. If this is not an option, we will accept images in JPEG, GIF, TIFF or BMP. If these formats are not available either, send your file as is, and we’ll do our very best to design our watch with a quality image of your logo.
Q: I know exactly what color I need for my logo. How can I let you know what it is?
A: Specify your desired colors and hues using Pantone numbers. This is the only way we can guarantee accurate color rendering.
